Aveline: you gotta love her. Even with her strict morals and determination to uphold the law, she's still willing to spend her free time hanging around 3 apostates (one of whom is a bloodmage), a pirate captain, a roguish dwarf and an elven fugitive (who she actually helps remain living in his 'rightfully stolen' quarters). And then complains nearly the entire time she's there.

Bearing in mind this is what she chooses to do for fun. Clearly not a lot going on in the rest of her life...

Face it, first, in all seriousness, Aveline and Hawke are really close. Both Fereldan, both trying to do what's right while eking out a living. And second, everything else is boring compared to Hawke's adventures.
